About INFRAMEDIC
THE ORIGIN OF INFRAMEDIC

From a real problem
to a patented
infrared control platform.

INFRAMEDIC was founded around a specific technical challenge: conventional infrared systems typically operate with preset output levels and do not continuously respond to the temperature at the user’s application area.

Founder and inventor Gerd Mattheiss developed a different approach. Contactless sensors measure the temperature at the back, ONE-CONTROL processes the sensor data, and the infrared emitter output is automatically adjusted in real time.

This closed-loop principle became the foundation of SAFETY SENSE and the INFRAMEDIC technology platform.

Today, INFRAMEDIC combines sensor technology, control electronics and dedicated infrared emitter architectures for integration into premium products, existing systems and OEM applications.

THE ORIGIN OF THE TECHNOLOGY

A personal experience.
A technical question.

The development of INFRAMEDIC began with a simple observation: conventional infrared systems typically operate with predefined output, while temperature conditions and user response can change continuously during an application.

Following his own experience with intensive back heat, founder and inventor Gerd Mattheiss began exploring a different approach: instead of manually adjusting infrared output, the system should detect temperature at the application area and regulate the emitter automatically.

FROM EXPERIENCE TO TECHNOLOGY
This question became the foundation of INFRAMEDIC’s sensor-controlled infrared platform. The result is a closed-loop architecture combining contactless temperature detection, control logic and automatically regulated infrared emitters.
THE DEVELOPMENT LOGIC
I
Observation
Conventional infrared systems generally rely on predefined output and manual adjustment.
II
Technical Question
Could infrared output respond automatically to measured temperature at the application area?
III
System Concept
Combine contactless sensing, control electronics and infrared emitters in one closed-loop architecture.
IV
INFRAMEDIC Technology
The concept evolved into SAFETY SENSE, ONE-CONTROL and dedicated infrared emitter platforms for products and OEM integration.
CORE DEVELOPMENT QUESTION
“How can infrared output respond automatically to measured temperature at the application area?”

FROM IDEA TO SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

From a technical question
to a controlled infrared system.

The central development question was straightforward: how can infrared output adapt automatically to changing temperature conditions at the application area instead of relying on fixed power settings?

NFRAMEDIC answered this with a closed-loop system architecture combining contactless temperature detection, control electronics and dedicated infrared emitters. The system continuously processes measured values and adjusts infrared output in real time.

01
Contactless temperature detection
Sensors continuously detect temperature at the defined application area without physical contact.
02
Real-time control
ONE-CONTROL processes the measured values together with the system parameters and determines the required emitter output.
03
Automatic emitter regulation
The infrared output is continuously increased or reduced according to the measured temperature and operating state.
PATENTED TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM

FOUNDER & INVENTOR

From product insight
to a technology platform.

Gerd Mattheiss founded INFRAMEDIC with the objective of changing how infrared heat is controlled.

Rather than developing another conventional infrared product, he focused on the interaction between temperature sensing, control logic and emitter output.

This work led to the development of SAFETY SENSE, ONE-CONTROL and two complementary infrared emitter architectures: CORE-RADIANT 230 / 110 and CORE-FLEX 24.

Today, the technology is designed not only for INFRAMEDIC products, but also for OEM integration, licensing, joint development and application-specific partnerships with manufacturers and technology companies.

INFRAMEDIC TODAY

From a product idea
to an intelligent heat platform.

INFRAMEDIC has evolved from the development of individual infrared products into a technology company focused on sensor-controlled heat, control electronics and modular emitter architectures.

The platform combines SAFETY SENSE, ONE-CONTROL, CORE-RADIANT 230 / 110 and CORE-FLEX 24 within one integrated technology ecosystem.

INFRAMEDIC develops complete premium products while also making its technology available for OEM integration, licensing, joint development and application-specific cooperation with industrial partners.
