SAFETY SENSE is INFRAMEDIC’s sensor-based control technology for automatically regulated infrared heat.

Two contactless sensing points continuously measure the temperature of the upper and lower back. The measured values are processed by ONE-CONTROL, which automatically adjusts the infrared output in real time.

WHAT IS SAFETY SENSE?

SAFETY SENSE continuously measures the temperature of the back without physical contact and uses these values as the basis for automatic infrared regulation.

Instead of operating with a fixed output level, the system continuously adapts the emitter output to the measured temperature within a closed control loop.

The result is a controlled and consistent heat experience without continuous manual readjustment.

SAFETY SENSE creates a continuous feedback loop between the user, ONE-CONTROL and the infrared emitter. The back temperature is measured without contact and used to regulate infrared output automatically in real time.

Contactless back-temperature measurement
Two sensor points continuously measure the temperature of the upper and lower back without physical contact.

Real-time evaluation
ONE-CONTROL processes the measured values and continuously determines the appropriate infrared output for the current application status.

Automatic infrared regulation
The emitter output is increased or reduced automatically according to the measured back temperature. The system also regulates the infrared spectrum automatically.

Continuous controlled operation
The control loop remains active throughout the application and adapts the infrared output continuously without requiring manual readjustment.

The measured back temperature continuously feeds back into the control system. ONE-CONTROL processes the sensor data and adjusts the emitter output, creating a continuous closed-loop regulation cycle.
ONE-CONTROL INTEGRATION
ONE-CONTROL is the control unit behind the SAFETY SENSE system. It processes the measured back-temperature values, manages the operating logic and automatically regulates compatible INFRAMEDIC emitters. In addition to automatic regulation, ONE-CONTROL can provide application status, back-temperature information, program functions, user recognition, configuration options and system-related operating data.

SAFETY SENSE can be combined with INFRAMEDIC’s two emitter platforms according to the electrical, mechanical and thermal requirements of the application.

The sensing and control principle remains the same: SAFETY SENSE measures the back temperature without contact, ONE-CONTROL processes the measured values, and the selected emitter platform delivers the regulated infrared output.

CORE-RADIANT is INFRAMEDIC’s fixed infrared emitter architecture for direct, high-performance heat delivery.

The platform is available in 230 V for Europe and 110 V for North America and can be combined with SAFETY SENSE and ONE-CONTROL for automatic sensor-based regulation.
